Bubble is an open-source framework that automates the deployment of dynamic front-end preview apps.
When a developer opens a pull request or makes a commit to an existing pull request for a new UI/UX feature, Bubble will automatically build and deploy a fully functional draft of the application in order to preview changes made in isolation from other in-development features.
Each deployment generates a shareable URL, viewable as a pull request comment. This makes it convenient for all relevant stakeholders to provide immediate feedback, leading to a more efficient development process with a shortened feedback loop.
All preview apps can be easily managed through Bubble’s CLI tool and user-friendly dashboard interface.
Bubble integrates with an application’s GitHub repository, and automates the provisioning and teardown of preview app resources through a developer’s own AWS account, allowing users to maintain full control over their source code and self-hosted cloud-based infrastructure. By using a serverless model, preview apps remain lightweight and cost-effective.
